Bread Roll Recipe, Bread Potato Roll, Potato Stuffed Bread Roll, bread roll recipe step by step,
Shahi Bread Roll, a variant of Potato Stuffed bread roll or bread roll with stuffed potato is quick recipe for perfect tea time snack.
Ingredients
Bread – 10 slices
Boiled potatoes – 3 (350 grams)
Green peas – ¼ cup
Coriander leaves – 2 to 3 tbsp (finely chopped)
Ginger – ½ inch piece (finely chopped)
Green chilly – 2 (finely chopped)
Salt – more than ½ tsp or to taste
Cumin powder – ½ tsp
Coriander powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric powder – less than 1 tsp
Red chilly powder – ¼ tsp
Garam masala – ¼ tsp
Dry mango powder – ¼ tsp
Raisins – 1 tbsp
Cashew nuts – 10 to 12
Oil – for frying
Peel the boiled potatoes and take them out in a bowl
Put one table spoon oil in the pan and heat it; When the oil is hot, add cumin powder, finely chopped ginger, finely chopped green chillies, coriander powder and turmeric powder and fry it, add peas seeds to the spices and fry them lightly.
When the peas are fried, finely chop the potatoes in it. Now add garam masala, mango powder, red chili powder and salt and fry the stuffing by mixing it well. Prepare the stuffing by mashing it well, turn off the gas.
Cut raisins and cashews in the stuffing (cut 1 cashew into four pieces) and mix. Add green coriander to the stuffing and mix. Stuffing is ready to make the rolls.
Cut the edge of the bread with the help of knife. Cut all the sides of the bread and prepare it.
Divide the stuffing into equal portions, prepare 10 balls and keep them in a plate by giving them cylindrical shape.
Take half-a-quarter cup of water in a plate and dip a bread in water, place the bread soaked in water on the palm, press it with the other palm, remove the bread water, now you have a cylindrical stuffing on top of it Keep it prepared in advance and fold the braid and after pressing it from all sides, close the stuffing and give the shape of a roll, in this way prepare all the rolls and place them on a plate.
Put oil in a pan and heat it, the oil should be well heated. To check the oil, put 1 roll in hot oil and see if it is roasting then the oil is well prepared after heating. Now take 2-3 rolls and heat them
Put it in the oil and flip it with a spoon, fry it till it becomes golden brown all over.
It takes 5-6 minutes to fry a single roll. Take out the fried bread rolls and place them on a napkin spread in a plate. Fry all the rolls in the same way and prepare them.
Serve hot shahi breadroll with green coriander chutney or tomato chutney or any chutney of your choice.
